Enjoy spring in the Bay of Quiberon
In spring, in the Bay of Quiberon, the climate is mild, and the expression "the weather is fine several times a day" is likely to be proven accurate during your stay in Brittany.
Less than 3 hours from Paris by train, make the most of the Easter holidays and long weekends in May to discover the natural treasures of the Bay of Quiberon with your family or as a couple.
The awakening of Breton nature
Quiberon Bay in spring is a paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers! When spring arrives, the birds sing, the fields blossom, and the days get longer... What could be more pleasant than to be at one with nature?
On the Wild Coast, admire the sea thrift that forms a pink carpet on the dunes. Watch the plovers, wheatears, seagulls and their gull parents who dart about and hum. Walk along the Rivière d'Etel, which is also home to exceptional fauna and flora, and many species of seabirds. Further north, in the Tréauray valley, the blossoming of rhododendrons colours the banks pink.
Your first sea bath of the year in Quiberon Bay?
What could be more beneficial than revitalising yourself in seawater? In spring, all boardsports enthusiasts throw themselves head first into the swell and waves. The most adventurous ones have their first swim in April. Breathe in the invigorating and bracing air of our coasts!
During spring tides, shellfish weigh down the buckets of shellfish gatherers. The return of spring also means the return of cruises on the Gulf of Morbihan and the Ria d'Etel.
Spring resolutions
Spring is the season of renewal! The time to devote yourself to what makes you feel good, and to revitalise yourself. Start working out gently. Practice outdoor wellness activities - yoga, relaxation, meditation - that promote harmony of the body and mind.
Cycling and walking are also great opportunities to enjoy nature and boost your energy. Walk or cycle along the trails, by the sea or in the countryside.
