Our history
Shortly before 1998, we decided to trade in our little accountant's shoes from a farm management center for a pair of breeder's boots. After a year of searching, we found the ideal farm for us. It's at Botdrein, in Pluvigner, Morbihan. We moved in and set up our 60 goats. Five years later, we're raising 160 goats, our buildings are expanding, our range of cheeses is growing and so is our team.
In the early days, we sold our cheeses at markets, but as time went by, we turned to retailers: cheese shops, creameries, delicatessens and restaurants. Today, you can find us in over 35 outlets. We are present from Vannes to Lorient.
For the past year, we've been making goat's milk desserts and yoghurts - well, us, especially Cathy, who's behind all these superb homemade creations!
More recently, we've started selling goat meat and charcuterie direct. A lean, red meat that falls somewhere between beef and lamb.
Our team
Mickaël and Justine take care of the goats every day, milking them to provide good milk for...
... Mathilde who makes all those delicious cheeses with... Martine who delivers them every week
and Cathy who lovingly prepares the yoghurts and desserts, and sends the occasional invoice to our retailers...
... Alexandra who calls every week to take orders
... And Manu, conductor of this happy team, who, with Cathy, have been working for 25 years to bring you the very best of St-Goal breeding.
And finally, the goats, without whom none of this would be possible!
