The Association pour la sauvegarde des chemins de Plouharnel is offering a short 1 km walk entitled "A la découverte de l'histoire du Mane Bégo".
Departure point: Chapelle Ste Barbe for a 1 km walk with commentary on the history of the wash-houses and mills,
Arrival: Viewpoint on the rocky outcrop of Mane Bégo, with the history of the dike, the tide mill and the Bégo pond, and the landing of emigrants,.....
Presentation of the Belvedere project to contemplate the great dune site, the ocean and Plouharnel Bay, and raise visitors' awareness of the need to preserve our environment.
