Part dance, part play, mOts premiers is a verbal joust, a corps à corps. Two boys seek to communicate and invent their own language, made up of words, gestures and movements. One dances (hip-hop, break...), the other speaks Lingala, French or English. They listen and respond to each other, gradually shaping a poetic world of their own.
mOts premiers is a collection of languages created to meet the other. Sometimes they collide, shout and clash, sometimes they settle down, listen to each other and embrace. This play examines all these dazzling but decisive moments. A show that's both gentle... and explosive!
