Starting-Block is the story of sportswomen who have done extraordinary things. Sportswomen from different horizons, eras and disciplines, fighting and triumphing. It's a story that makes us want to stand up and unite.
It's a match-show with women speaking in chorus. Six actresses tell you stories of female athletes who have dared and still dare: running the Boston Marathon when women are not allowed, surfing at night when women are not allowed on the beach during the day...
It's all there, just like at the stadium! The codes of the match with rules of the game, an overheated audience worthy of stadiums, a whistle, quarter-times and a gang ready to do battle, who don't give up and who shout: "On the starting blocks!"
