"Entente cordiale" is the title of this autumn's concert, under the symbol of Franco-British cohesion and friendship. The prestigious Maîtrise des filles de la Cathédrale d'Ely will join the choirs of the Maitrîse de Sainte-Anne-d'Auray for a program built around the world premiere of three works by Sarah MacDonald (commissioned by the Académie). This pianist, organist, composer and conductor has just been appointed head of the Royal College of Organists. Echoing these compositions, the choir will perform pieces by Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924) and Herbert Howells (1892-1983).
