On a speedway lost on the border between Flanders and France, young Alizée is a pilot, just like her boyfriend, her father, her mother and soon her grandbrother. On Sundays, she unplugs her brain and steps on the gas pedal in a frenzy of speed and destruction to become the heroine of a day, a race, a crash. But the circuit that has brought the community together for the past 40 years has to close, due to administrative problems. How will Alizée and all the Speedway adapters live without their reason for existing?
