Victor, Ptolémé, Alfred, Rosie and Balthazar live in the same building. They don't necessarily know each other, but something links them: their relationship with happiness.
Victor seems to have achieved it: he embodies perfection in every way. Ptolémé is discreet and docile, obeying orders and devoting boundless admiration to Victor. Alfred thinks he'll find him by possessing more and more. Rosie, on the other hand, seems to have given up and is frightened: perhaps unhappiness is contagious! And then there's Balthazar, trying to understand what everyone is looking for, and whose questions will upset the fragile balance.
In this puppet theater with a quirky aesthetic, a cast of characters with a penchant for truthfulness poetically and intimately question our quest for happiness. How do we distinguish between genuine desire, fashion and social injunction? Is happiness different for everyone? Is a successful life necessarily a happy one?
Tender, poignant visual poetry that says much more than words.
