This trail takes in the commune of Ploemel (Plenuer in Breton) via its paths and sunken lanes.
Step by step: Start: From the cemetery parking lot, take the narrow road towards Lenno. At the bend in the road, take the path alongside the railroad. At the road, turn left, then right.
1) Go straight ahead on the path into the woods. After 800 m, follow the Tire-Bouchon railroad line (trains in summer).
2) At the road, turn left, then in the bend, take the track on the left which continues to run alongside the railroad. Continue through the woods.
3) At the business park, the path forks left. Continue until you reach the local road, which you cross. Take the track opposite to the Lande de Rennes housing estate. Continue straight ahead until you reach the D119.
4) At the D119, turn left for 80 m (watch out for traffic), then fork right.
5) At Kergounio, go straight ahead into the Kerluhan cul-de-sac to reach the Mané Bogad park and pond (children's playground, picnic tables, fitness trail). Continue to the hamlet of Poulhoh.
6) Take the road to the left for 180 m before forking left onto the path leading to the Mané Bogad Dolmen, listed as a Historic Monument since 1931. It was excavated and restored in the same year by Zacharie Le Rouzic, an early 20th-century archaeologist. Dating from the Neolithic period (7,000 to 4,500 years BC), the tomb was enclosed in a tumulus, an earth and stone structure whose base is still visible today. A dismantled alignment of menhirs can also be seen to the west of the monument, at the bottom of the hill. Some of these menhirs have been reused over the years to build low parcel walls. Return to the village via the path and then the rue du Champ d'Amour to reach the cemetery parking lot.
