All year round - Mountain biking possible Discover Erdeven's rural lanes to reach the village and Kerhillio beach.
Departure point: From Place Saint-Märgen, turn right into Rue de la Mairie, then left into Rue Le Barh. Turn right into rue de l'Océan.
Step by step :
1) At the intersection with rue de la Plage, turn right into rue Lann Vihan. Continue straight ahead on rue du Champ Madame.
2) At the bend in the road, keep right. See the Men Glas Menhir, which, although seemingly isolated, is linked to the megalithic complex stretching from Kerzerho to Bois du Varquez.
3) At the road, take the Chemin des Saules, then turn left after 50 m (follow the signs).
4) Follow the small road and then the farm track to reach the hamlet of Kermovel.
5) Turn right onto Route de Kergrosse. In Kergrosse, see the rectangular fountain, covered with large cut granite slabs. It is shown on the 1845 land register. The fountain was restored in 2017 by the Chantiers d'insertion de la Communauté de communes, in partnership with the Commune. Its spillway flows into the Kergrosse pond. At the bend in the road, turn left onto the Kergrouët path.
6) Continue to Boulevard de l'Atlantique, cross it and take the path opposite.
7) Continue along the tennis courts to the beach. Admire the dune massif stretching from Gâvres to Quiberon, classified Grand Site de France in 2018. As part of the Gâvres-Quiberon Grand Site de France, the Erdeven dune massif boasts an exceptional natural heritage. Its 385 hectares of dunes extend the beach inland. The landscape alternates between mobile dunes, shifting with the winds and tides, grey dunes where short vegetation proliferates, and ponds with remarkable biodiversity adapted to this very special environment (www.gavres-quiberon. fr).
