As part of the Méliscènes 2025 Festival
Corinne Thomazo, visual artist from the Pays d'Auray, invites local residents to take part in a collective work entitled Constellation marionnettique.
Using a cutting board, each participant will create his or her own firefly puppet for the Méliscènes Festival, assembling a lampshade from a pattern, images provided or gleaned, and above all, their own imagination.
These fireflies, collected and assembled in each commune of the region, will form a spectacular light fixture exhibited in participating media libraries. Starting in December 2024, numerous workshops will be held to design these unique works of art, leading up to their final illumination on Saturday March 8 in the participating media libraries.
Open to everyone aged 8 and over
