Mini en Mai" sailing race
The Mini en Mai is an extraordinary success. This single-handed event, which counts towards the French Mini championship, has become a "must", attracting a maximum of 100 participants, much to the disappointment of the skippers on the waiting list.
Around 500 miles long, on an unchanging course, weather permitting, it serves as a useful preparation for the Mini Transat, as the best skippers take part aboard their protos or production yachts with hulls no longer than 6.50 m. This doesn't prevent them from keeping up with the competition. This doesn't prevent them from averaging much larger classic yachts.
A MUST FOR THE MINI CLASS - Start May 19.
