Escales Photos" festival in Locmariaquer.
Since 2013, the Mor Braz festival has been hanging photo reports in 7 communes in Quiberon Bay: Locmariaquer, La Trinité-sur-Mer, Plouharnel, Le Palais (Belle-Île-en-Mer), Houat, Hoëdic and Arzon.
Exhibited this year from June 15 to October 31, the festival's large-format images are hung on house facades, in villages and in the heart of natural spaces. Every year, a meticulous scenography is applied to the research of themes, the selection of images and their installation on the sites.
Locmariaquer program:
"Les Chemins de l'École" - 18 photojournalists from the Sipa Press agency.
This major, never-before-seen documentary was produced by 18 reporters-photographers from the SIPA PRESS agency. They travelled the world, from Nigeria to Thailand, from Australia to the United States, via Hoëdic, to investigate the routes taken by schoolchildren. They brought back previously unpublished photographic reports that bear witness to the difficult conditions of access to education that many children still face today.
In 2013, Hoëdic was chosen by Unesco to feature in a photo report on access to education for children around the world. What is at stake for the future in the schooling of children from Libya, Mexico, Kenya or Hoëdic? This is the question posed by "Les chemins de l'école", an exhibition produced by Sipa Press photographers.
