A choreographic piece on wheels - from age 6
For this new creation, Compagnie C'hoari shifts its gaze to the gliding culture by collaborating with two Breton skateboarders, blending the worlds of contemporary dance, folk dance and skateboarding.
Fiskal (=impeccab' in Breton) is the portrait of a Breton youth built on social values and solidarity, and on the notion of DIY (Do It Yourself), as a thumbing of the nose at the conformist system. It's a collaboration between skateboarding and dance, a blend of different universes to talk about our freedoms and to question many of the rules and injunctions that make up our daily lives in Brittany and elsewhere. Like a wind of joyful, peaceful resistance to keep our culture and our freedoms alive.
