Jazz in all its states" CONFERENCE
As part of Jazz Week
In 2025, the École de musique's Jazz workshop celebrates its 20th anniversary.
To mark the occasion, the Auray School of Music is offering a week dedicated to Jazz, with special guest trumpeter Geoffroy Tamisier.
An opportunity for Alréen-nes, young and old, to discover jazz on a variety of occasions.
The lecture will offer an overview of the origins and major currents of Jazz, comparing its eras and styles through musical excerpts.
It will also clarify frequently asked questions about jazz musicians, including improvisation and the use of sheet music.
Franck Bergerot, journalist, author and lecturer specializing in jazz since the 70s, has edited Jazz Magazine and written about Miles Davis.
