European Crafts Days

For JEMA 2025, Florent Pelhate, jeweler, will exceptionally open his workshop Florent Artisan Créateur, located in Saint-Philibert, Morbihan. In groups of no more than 4 people and in half-hour sessions, he will explain to the public the various stages involved in creating a piece of jewelry. An opportunity to discover, through the ancestral techniques of master jewelers, how gold jewels come to life and the functions of the various tools used to create these unique pieces. Florent Pelhate will also be demonstrating his skills at his workbench.

The workshop is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

About Florent Pelhate

Florent Pelhate is a graduate of the prestigious Haute école de la joaillerie (Paris). He works in the pure French tradition, just as his masters taught him. He was awarded the Répar'Acteurs prize for excellence in craftsmanship in 2022. The Chambre des Métiers et de l'Artisanat de Bretagne also awarded him the title of Artisan d'Art in 2022. After completing his apprenticeship in Paris and practicing his craft in Montrouge (92120), he moved to Saint-Philibert (56470) in Morbihan in 2021. Florent Pelhate also offers training courses in jewelry making.
