Crepe or galette? Salted butter or sweet butter? Frying pan or billig? Scrambled egg or mirror?
In this new opus, Compagnie Les Somnambules presents a performance show.
Moïse, a native of Brittany with a passion for galettes, arrives to cook crêpes and galettes, in front of and for the audience: savory, sweet, there's (almost) something for everyone. But with the crêpière catching fire and a taste for the absurd, it's not certain that everything will go according to plan... Here we laugh, with our mouths full!
This show explores the origins of the ingredients in this simplistic recipe, which has been somewhat affected by industry and globalization. A dive into crepe dough that also questions Breton identity, and more broadly the relationship we have with our native region - our desire to build a life elsewhere, or later ... to return.
