After learning that Mozart had a sister who was a composer, that in Nubia there existed a matriarchal civilization as rich and flourishing as the Egyptian civilization, that in the 4th century a woman discovered the elliptical shape of the solar system, then the question arises: how many other women have been ignored, forgotten, prevented? What other reality could have been written with them? What other reality will be written once we (re)discover their lives?

In a one-woman show, Zoé Grossot unearths portraits of women with extraordinary destinies, who have been erased from our history. But beyond these forgotten historical figures, there are all those whose names will never be known, all those who will remain in the shadows, barely noticed.

Using paper silhouettes, Zoé Grossot and Lou Simon, co-creators of the show, sketch out another reality, ignored by our collective imaginations, and suggest other models and representations outside of gender stereotypes.

A journey across continents and eras that focuses on women, their diversity, their exceptional but also dramatic destinies, their daily lives, their struggles and their strength. It's a collective celebration to which she invites the audience with kindness and humor.
