Kerbourgnec enclosure and alignments
The main megalithic site on the Presqu'île, the 3rd largest in Morbihan, is Kerbourgnec in Saint Pierre Quiberon. It consists of an alignment of 25 menhirs in 5 rows, some with surprising shapes. It is extended by a cromlec'h of 27 other menhirs placed in a circle.
In Quiberon, the most remarkable menhirs are the large Goulvars menhir, between the thalassotherapy center and the Pointe du Conguel, the recumbent menhir on the Pointe de Beg er Vil, the menhir on Rue Pouligner which serves as a war memorial, the Manémeur menhir, not forgetting Jean et Jeannette on the outskirts of the village and, at Le Vivier, the bishop's bonnet and the decapitated menhir.
Rarer, well-preserved dolmens include Port Blanc, on the Côte Sauvage, and Roch, on the village square of the same name in Saint Pierre Quiberon.
